To all clients and stakeholders:

This is to inform you of the following changes on the services provided by the Lighting and Appliance Testing Laboratory (LATL). Please check the details below:

Service Delivery of the following LATL services:
     ▪ Evaluation of Endorsed Test Reports from Other Laboratory
     ▪ Validation of Energy Labels
Affected   Clients and Stakeholders All clients availing the above LATL services
Nature   of Change With the launching of the Philippine Energy Labeling   Program (PELP) Online Registration System for various household appliances on   10 January 2022, LATL will no longer accept and process requests related to   the above-mentioned services.
     
Clients who wish to submit requests for validation of energy labels are   directed to transact their businesses and submit the necessary documents   and/or certification to the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Performance   Regulation and Enforcement Division (EPRED) of the DOE Energy Utilization   Management Division (DOE-EUMB).
     
Other laboratories who wish to submit results of energy performance testing   in accordance with PNS 396-1 and -2 are directed to submit the reports to   EPRED for appropriate actions.
     
All requests for services mentioned above that are still pending with LATL   will be endorsed properly to EPRED for appropriate action. Rest assured that   this transition will not hamper the delivery of timely and quality service to   our clients and stakeholders.
