PELP Registration and Energy Label Issuance as of 1st Quarter 2022

The Department of Energy (DOE) continues to accept registration of energy consuming products through the PELP Registration System. Since its launch on 12 August 2021, the DOE has received a total of 470 applications for energy consuming products (ECP), which include air conditioners, refrigerating appliances, television sets and lighting products.

As of March 31, 2022, a total of thirty-eight (38) companies have successfully registered in the PELP system and a total of 267 product models were issued with energy labels, particularly for 141 models of air conditioners, eighty-four (84) lighting products, thirty-one (31) models of refrigerating appliances, and eleven (11) television sets.
