The PELP Online Registration System was launched on August 12, 2021, which started with the PELP Company Registration, followed by the start of PELP Product Registration and Energy Label Issuance. All manufacturers, importers and distributors of energy-consuming products (ECPs) are enjoined to register their existing and upcoming product models to the PELP System.
As of December 31, 2022, a total of eighty-seven (87) companies have successfully registered in the PELP system, and 3,903 energy consuming products have been approved and registered under the PELP. Furthermore, the DOE has issued a total of 2,278 energy labels for air conditioners (899 models), lighting products (622 models), refrigerators (382 models) and television sets (375 models). Below is the summary and composition of approved products and issued energy labels:
